When a day is exhausting, there’s nothing better than a hydrating face mask to relax. Here’s a simple recipe with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
You’ll need:
Half an avocado (a ripe one!)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon plain, unsweetened yogurt
How to make it:
Mash the avocado in a bowl until smooth. You want it to be as creamy as possible so that it applies easily to your skin.
Add the honey and yogurt to the mixture. Stir everything together until you have a smooth paste.
Apply the mask evenly to your face, avoiding the eyes and mouth areas.
Relax with the mask for 10-15 minutes.
Rinse off with lukewarm water and gently pat your face dry with a soft towel.
Because I absolutely forgot everything I learned in Biology but I need this to be convincing, I did a quick Google search. Here’s why this mixture works: Avocado is packed with healthy fats that help hydrate and soften your skin. Honey has antibacterial properties and gives your skin a natural glow. Yogurt contains lactic acid, which exfoliates and helps smooth and tighten your skin.
