Quick notice

Hey guys!

You may or may not have noticed that I haven’t posted in quite a while.

Just to let y’all know, the past few months have been an extremely busy transition point in my life. I’ve had plenty of ideas for new posts, but not the time to write them.

Looking forward, changing commitments in school and home mean that I won’t be posting much anymore. (This’ll be the first time I’m going to school out-of-state.)

It’s been a wild time in this little cupboard of the Web — my nickname for Substack, hehe. When I first started a little over a year ago, I had no idea what I was even doing here. Everything was figure-it-out-as-I-go. But through this past year on Substack, I’ve grown to develop my own writing style, see how God works through words both written and spoken, and understand how to use my skills and gifts to better serve God.

I’m sad that I have to pause this after only a year, but I’ll definitely continue writing (I’ve been working on a poetry and prose anthology and a book of children’s stories — who knows, maybe I’ll publish them one day), and hopefully I’ll pick up The Roadside Café again in the future.

Overall, this publication will stay up for now — nothing’s getting deleted — but there may not be new posts. I’ll still be dropping Notes, though.

So, if you have a mountain of subscriptions and want to clear them out, feel free to unsubscribe. I won’t be offended!
